Sam and Kimmy's story began at UW La Crosse, where they played on the men's and women's tennis teams. On an impromptu trip to the bluffs one evening, they spent a couple hours talking mainly about their shared love for music. The rest was history... They officially began dating in November of 2019. After Sam graduated in 2021, he moved to Milwaukee to start his career, with Kim following in 2022 after she graduated and began working remotely. They built a life together in Milwaukee, adopted a puppy, and their journey continued to Madison, in March 2024, after Sam's job became fully remote. Just a few months later, in June 2024, Sam planned a private, heartfelt proposal during Kim's 24th birthday weekend. With the help of their dog, Betty, who delivered the ring, Sam asked Kimmy to marry him. Without hesitation, she said "yes", and their families celebrated the joyous occasion together in Madison that weekend. Since their engagement, with the purchase of their first home and adoption of a second puppy (Sonic) to make wedding planning even more "relaxing," they're officially happier than ever and can't wait to be married. They look forward to all the fun adventures ahead and send all their love to the friends and family who'll be celebrating with them!
