FAQs

Question

Is there no ceremony?

Answer

An intimate and very private ceremony will be conducted before the evenings events. The couple has chosen to keep this moment to a very small group.

Question

Do I have to wear a costume?

Answer

No, but why wouldn't you? We have taken over Halloween night; of course we would encourage you to to strap on some fairy wings and bust out the face paint. If vampire teeth are your thing we just ask you dress nicely and avoid dressing as anything with the word "bride" in the title. Red wine will be on hand for any offenders. If you do not wish to dress up in a Halloween costume, we simply ask you dress to impress and be comfortable doing it.

Question

Will there be food at the reception?

Answer

The reception will have any food left over from dinner and some snacks. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to eat up so there is less to clean up.

Question

Can I bring a friend?

Answer

No plus one on your invite? Need an emotional support human to ease the social awkwardness? We do ask that you leave your ESH at home until the reception. A seating chart and special events are planned during the other events. You are responsible for your ESH's behavior, if we catch them peeing on a skeleton decoration, they will be asked to leave. We don't care how much of a cocky grin he had on his face, nothing deserves biological warfare.

Question

Can I bring my kid?

Answer

Unless specifically invited we do ask that you leave any uninvited children at home. For parents whose child was invited, please note there will be alcohol at this event. It is the parents responsibility to follow all local drinking laws regarding underage guests. AKA don't give the teenagers beer cause you think its funny, more than likely you'll just be shocked by their tolerance and then you realize you gave them the last beer. Side note for parents, their will be several elderly family members and a handful of visually impaired guests. Pleas try to keep children from running and shouting to avoid issues with other guests.

Question

Can I bring my dog?

Answer

The facility is an animal free building. Please leave Fido at home. Obviously if your dog is a real service animal they are welcome. If you do have a service dog that has some issues maintaining good boy behavior around other service dogs, please let us know so we can put distance between those guests.

Answer

Question

Is it going to be cold?

Answer

For those who are not familiar with Wisconsin; it may or may not be cold. Really how does one determine what is cold. Many locals would say as long as your pee don't freeze before it hits the ground, its warm. Others base cold as the moment the flip flops get thrown in the closet for the season. However many locals do wear the barely there footwear well into three or four inches of snow fall. Short answer bring a jacket and shorts, it's autumn in Wisconsin! Seriously, check the weather. You may need snow boots or you may desire sandals. Its truly a toss up each year.

Any Accommodation's?

Answer

We carefully chose this facility because of its accessibility, location, and ease of use. For wheel chair and walkers, it is on a level floor with handicap bathroom stalls.
