Question

When and how should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP at your earliest convenience and no later than July 26th, 2024. Use the RSVP page found in the navigation bar of this website to complete your response.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that all guests dress in formal attire. Black-Tie is optional. While this is still an elevated event, men are not required to wear a tuxedo (although it's encouraged). A dark suit is acceptable. Women are more than welcome to wear a floor-length dress, but if you prefer a dressy, knee-length cocktail dress, then feel free.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this will allow you a much-deserved night off to celebrate with us!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

As there are many weddings celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. We ask that you arrive to the ceremony 20-30 minutes early to allow for parking and to avoid any interruptions . If you are using rideshare apps, please plan your rides in advance to arrive on time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception are located on Lindell Blvd within a 5 minute walking distance. For the ceremony, parking has been reserved at the Grand/ Laclede garage located on North Campus at SLU. You are welcome to stay parked in the garage for the duration of the reception if you choose to walk. There is also metered street parking on Lindell Blvd from 7am -7pm UPDATE! We've decided to provide valet parking at The Coronado, available from 4:30 p.m. until 11:30 p.m at the main entrance on Lindell Blvd. We hope this makes things easier. Garage parking is still available for ceremony.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have provided 3 hotel block options. Please find our hotel information and links under the travel tab.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Doors to the Coronado will be open to guests following the ceremony, however the bar will not be open until cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm. While we don't expect a long gap between the ceremony and reception, check out our things "Things to Do" page for suggestions in the area to grab something to eat and drink prior to cocktail hour. Please note that there will be a few light bites in addition to cocktails.
