We met on Jake's first day of work, which was Valentines day 2017. Jake had the unfortunate luck to start on the same day as another Jake. This was proving to be difficult for Lexi, so she requested to be able to call one of them Jakey. Jake, who's always had trouble saying no to beautiful women, offered to allow it - just for the day. It would be just his luck that the boss walked by right then. To this day, everyone at Columbia, and even others, refer to Jake as Jakey. Jake and Lexi became best friends and remain so to this day. In late May of 2018, Jake's Mor Mor (Swedish for grandmother) passed away. Lexi noticed Jake wasn't himself, so she took him out for pizza and a movie (Incredibles 2). That night they spoke about life, love, death and happiness. The next morning, Lexi and Jake both woke up, in their respective beds, with a similar thought - could we be more than friends...?
