Andy had been thinking about proposing for a couple of weeks, trying to decide the best way to pop the question. While on a hike in Nevada, Andy decided it was as good a time as any. One problem-he didn’t have the ring yet. As they were hiking, Andy would randomly pick up pieces of grass to see if he could make a ring. Each. One. Broke. Andy decided this obviously wasn’t the right time. As they got to the end of the trail, Andy decided to climb up the bluff to see the view while Stefon opted to stay in the wind tunnel of a small valley. Once Andy got to the top, he realized how truly happy he was. He decided today had to be the day. On the way back, he picked up more grass and was finally able to craft a ring. He set up his phone for a video photo and as he was getting ready to propose, Stefon walked away! They walked a bit further down the mountain and Andy set up his phone again for another “photo op” and popped the question. After several “are you sure? Me?!” Stefon said “yes!” Stefon wore his grass ring down the rest of the trail.
