If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email at burlewwedding@gmail.com. We check this email daily and it is the fastest way for us to get back to you instead of your question being lost in texts and large email inboxes.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by March 10th 2024. RSVPs will be made on this site under the "RSVP" tab starting January 2024 when formal invitations are mailed. We need to submit final headcounts to several vendors and will not be able to accommodate late RSVPs. If we do not receive a response from you by this time, we will miss you dearly and will be sure to send photos of our day with you!

Question

Is there anything I should know now?

Answer

Something that is extremely important to us is the feeling of community and safety for all of our guests. To make this a fun and enjoyable weekend for everyone, we ask that you please respect others opinions, personal identities, and who they choose to love. We think the best way for this to happen is to spend more time being present with the people around you and less time discussing controversial issues. If this is something that you feel you cannot do for us, we will miss you greatly at our wedding and we will share photos with you when we get them back.

Question

Can I smoke at the venue?

Answer

While the venue is mainly outdoors, the camp itself operates as a place for children with medical needs through the summer and therefore has a strict nonsmoking policy. If you do need to smoke, please walk down the gravel driveway to the front of the camp. We know this is a long walk but Stefin, myself, and the children who play at this camp appreciate your effort to keep it a safe space for them.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We do have a registry that will be made available on this website under the "Registry" tab in January 2024 when the formal invitations go out. Please know that the best gift you could give us is your presence while helping us celebrate and dance the night away.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

All invitations had the names of all guests invited from each party. Due to the size of the venue and the lodging, we have made the decision to reserve plus ones for those in long term partnerships so that we can celebrate our day with as many of our loved ones as possible. All names of parties invited will appear on the invitation and the online RSVP link. If you do have a plus one, you will see “Guest” listed in both of these places. We appreciate your understanding about this and hope we will still be able to celebrate with you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. Please reference your invitations to see all the family members we have planned for. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy letting your hair down and having the evening off!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please list this on your RSVP and if you would like to be extremely sure we saw it, please email us at burlewwedding@gmail.com

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Since the whole event is onsite, we will have parking. However it is still a great idea to carpool with family or friends and catch up on the ride in so as to not overwhelm our amazing friends who volunteered to be parking attendants and golf cart drivers.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive promptly by 3:45 to account for parking, walking, and/or being driven to the ceremony location. The ceremony will begin close to 4:30. Those who arrive late will not be able to attend the ceremony but are welcome at the cocktail hour and reception.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is garden attire. Opt for light, airy fabrics and clothing in neutral or pastel colors. Floral prints are also appropriate for a garden party. Think of sundresses, skirts, lightweight suits, and blouses. Please do not wear casual clothing - no jeans, tee shirts, or anything else you would wear on a normal weekend!! We will be taking pictures of all guests and cannot wait to see you in your Sunday Best.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please review our "Stay With Us" tab for anything to do with staying in the area!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We have planned a full fun weekend of summer camp style activities so that we have ample opportunity to be with the people we love so much. Starting Friday April 19th, we will have a cookout to kick off our wedding weekend! Please look at our Schedule tab for everything we have planned!
