Stefi and Brent's love story first began in September of 2017 at Loyola University's campus in Baltimore, Maryland. Stefi had chosen to attend Loyola after first seeing the campus in high school while visiting her sister, a then-student, while Brent picked Loyola for its basketball prospects. Neither of them could have imagined how those decisions would bring them together and change the course of their lives forever. As for the story of how they first officially met? That’s still up for debate. Every year, they call Stefi’s freshman roommate, Izzy, to settle the argument. But the truth is, Brent’s version wins. As Brent tells it, he and Stefi first crossed paths in Stefi’s dorm room while she was in the midst of moving in. Brent, seeing Stefi wearing an old FSU t-shirt, asked if she went to FSU. Stefi laughed and fired back, “Clearly not, I’m moving in here.” That sarcastic exchange would set the tone for everything to follow. In true Stefi and Brent fashion, their first official date was majorly Florida-coded. A casual beach day during a school break turned into a date night at the best spot Brent could have chosen: Chicken Kitchen. Stefi's love of Chicken Kitchen and Brent only grew stronger from there (and to this day, she insists everyone try it!) Since then, they’ve packed what feels like 20 years of life into 7. From college graduations to new jobs, big moves, and buying their first home, Stefi and Brent remained inseparable through it all, leading up to what can only be described as the proposal of Stefi's dreams. Brent planned to propose in Savannah Square, a beautiful neighborhood outside of Orlando, and took out all the stops—he coordinated Stefi’s family flying in, hired a photographer, and staged a fake “black-tie pizza dinner” as a cover story. Stefi had a feeling the proposal might be coming, but she played along, and the moment was everything she dreamed of. In her words, "Brent absolutely nailed it!" Now, after years of laughter, growing together, and experiencing all of life's in-betweens, Stefi and Brent are ready to commit themselves to each other and begin the rest of their lives together (and - another plus - Stefi finally found the man who will let her wear any heel size she wants!) The day has finally come, and they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all of you!
