How Do I Get There?

We know many guests might use this trip as an opportunity to explore Mexico. If you plan to arrive early, we recommend flying into Mexico City [MEX] and exploring Mexico City as you make your way over to San Miguel de Allende. If you would like to fly in closer to the wedding church & venue, Queretaro [QRO] is the closest airport. From there, you can take a taxi, cab, shuttle, or rent a car to San Miguel de Allende.

The Queretaro airport is about an 1 hour & 20 minutes away from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There are several flights a day on various airlines and international customs (Aduana) services. Most major rental car companies are on the grounds of the airport. There are also taxis, group shuttles, and private shuttles available. Shuttle services and private drivers should be booked in advance.

The Mexico City airport is about three and a half hours from San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. There are numerous flights a day on various airlines and international customs (Aduana) services. How to Get Around San Miguel

San Miguel de Allende is best be explored on foot. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (like Uber) are readily available. You'll need a car or a cab to go on some excursions.
