It’s happening!

On January 5th, 2015, in the Western Michigan University library (Tampa Campus), Steffanie saw Eric wearing a hoodie which she thought was of her alma mater, The University of Central Florida. So she said, “Hey! Is that a UCF sweatshirt?” And he said, “No, it’s Western Michigan.” Feeling embarrassed, she walked off. As she was going on her merry way, Eric (thinking she was pretty) said, “Hey! Do you know if there are 7 or 8 intentional torts??” After providing the answer (which Eric already knew), he kept the conversation going. Over the course of the conversation, Eric was saying where he was from and Steffanie cut him off mid-sentence and said, “You have beautiful eyes by the way.” Eric simply said, “Thank you, I appreciate it.” He then proceeded to get her number and ask her out to lunch that week. Needless to say, lunch went well! As their love for each other grew, so did their love for each other’s families. What they didn’t expect, but truly cherish, is how close their families got with one another. Not only do Steffanie and Eric look forward to a lifetime together, they also look forward to a lifetime of this amazing family dynamic. Steffanie and Eric’s story is far from over, they are excited to continue to share their journey with their loved ones along the way.
