Welcome to Iceland! To begin our trip, we'll be hosting a tour of the area, which will then also transport us to the wedding venue. Joining us for the tour is optional; however, please be sure to RSVP for this portion specifically so that we can confirm guest counts with the tour operator. We'll meet our tour guide for the day at the wedding planner's office (Pink Iceland) in Reykjavik before heading over to board our transport for the day. From there, we'll tour the Golden Circle and then end the tour at our venue, Hotel Budir. This same transport will bring us back to the city via the scenic route on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Casual Attire: Anything goes!
To close out the first day, we'll end our tour with some food and drinks at the hotel to officially welcome everyone to Iceland.

Attire is smart casual or cocktail. We invite everyone to join us in wearing our wedding colors (included in the mailed invitation). If the weather cooperates, we'll be outside on grass so please keep that in mind when choosing attire and footwear (maybe save the heels for dinner inside). The weather can change quickly in Iceland so, wearing layers is the way to go!
After the ceremony, we'll be providing a guided tour of the area or you can relax at the hotel--up to you! Please note that the ceremony start time is approximate and might be adjusted based on the weather.

Please join us downstairs for post-wedding breakfast the next morning before we depart.
10:00 am - 4:00 pm
If you arrived via the tour/transport, we'll depart after breakfast to return to the city via the scenic route with a mini tour on the way. The same transport can continue on to the Keflavik airport for anyone with an evening departure on the 3rd. If applicable, please be sure to share your departure time with us.

Be sure to pack a swimsuit!
For those hanging around town for a bit, we'll decompress with a spa day at the beautiful Sky Lagoon hot spring spa. Totally optional but please RSVP so that we can book enough tickets.
