Stefano and I met at the beach in Haiti when we were fourteen years old, and we quickly became friends. When I moved to Gainesville to attend UF, I found out he was also there. We reconnected in the first few months of our freshman year and he became my best friend. When we would attend social gatherings, I would find him looking for me in a crowded room and his eyes would always light up. The love and care that he constantly showed me made me realize that I was in love with him, and we started dating officially at the end of our sophomore year. Shortly after we started dating, he confessed that he had been in love with me since we were fourteen years old, and that he knew he had found his future wife. Six years later, and I still continue to fall in love with this incredible man every day.
