When should I RSVP by?

Answer

March 5, 2022. RSVP for each event on the RSVP tab on this website, for each person included on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is formal (formal suits and cocktail dresses or gowns) for the wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday. Attire is semi-formal (dress pants and sport coat or tie, cocktail dress) for the welcome party on Friday.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No, it is adults only for all events for our wedding weekend.

Is there a shuttle to and from the venue?

Answer

No, you can drive and leave your car at the venue overnight or use Uber or Lyft.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a front parking lot for guests at Whitehead Manor (the wedding venue) with 75 parking spots (the back parking lot is for vendors, please do not park there). You can leave your car at the venue overnight on Saturday, but you have to get it by 11am Sunday. You can always Uber or Lyft so you don’t have to worry about driving!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No, if your invitation was not addressed with your name “and guest,” you cannot bring a date.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at Hyatt Centric Southpark and Hampton Inn & Suites Charlotte/Southpark at Phillips Place. Please see the travel tab and click the “view” button link to easily access the discount.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guest seating for the wedding ceremony is 4:30-4:45pm, so please arrive on time to be seated during that time frame.
