Jeramiah and Stef met at a house party right before the Pandemic hit. They were cordial and remember even playing a game of spike ball against each other (Stef probably won). Months went by, the world came to a standstill and in midst, Stef picked up surfing as her new and most favorite hobby. That summer, they reconnected through a group of friends who loved to surf sunrise aka "dawn patrol". Over the summer they hung out most weekends through this group of friends -surfing, serving at Christian surfer's surf camps and skating through Atlantic Beach. Stef had no idea Jeramiah grew feelings for her. In late July, she started to grow suspicious, especially when Jeramiah had invited her to surf dawn patrol for a hurricane swell. Sure enough, it was one of the most beautiful sunrises (but also some very fun waves) and when they got in his van to drive home, he mustered up the courage to ask Stef on a date sometime. She was ecstatic and insisted they go right now. They spent the rest of the day driving through NE FL, from V pizza to St. Augustine's cheesy medieval torture museum (yes... you read that right) to biking by the beach, to sitting on top of Jeramiah's van in Vilano watching the moon rise over the sea. Their first date was 17 hours. Stef said she knew she loved him that day. 364 days later, Jeramiah asked Stef to marry him at the very spot they paddled out together on the beach. They are so excited to spend the rest of their days together adventuring and loving life.
