Can I bring a plus one/my significant other?

Answer

We are so sorry, but only those on the invite you received are invited. We would love to be able to include everyone, but in order to be more cost effective, we needed to limit who we invite. We hope that doesn't cause too much inconvenience!

Who should I tell about food allergies?

Answer

Please let Stefanie know of any food allergies for a reminder for her to relay those out to the Reception Hall's Event Coordinator right away!

Do I need to keep an eye on my children at all times?

Answer

Yes, the Reception Hall has a strict rule of not leaving any of your children unattended as there are fragile items throughout the castle that would be at the Bride and Groom's cost if anything were to get damaged.

Can we explore the castle?

Answer

Guests get access to explore the whole grounds! Enjoy the space! Indoors or Outdoors! Please be careful of antique items around the castle!

What am I not allowed to bring inside?

Answer

Outside food, confetti, silly string, glitter, rice, bird seed, any substance/material/equipment that could endanger another guest are all not allowed at the venue. This includes any open flames, sparklers, fireworks, guns, drugs, or weapons. This is a strict rule the venue hall wanted to be mentioned.

Can I smoke on the premises?

Answer

No, the venue has a rule that it is a non-smoking venue inside or outside. Use of vapes are also not allowed inside the building. We are to let everyone know this is a strict rule they have.

Can I leave my car at the Reception Hall overnight?

Answer

Yes, you can leave your car at the castle overnight if you were to uber/taxi to a hotel and go back the next day to get your car!

What food/drinks are included for guests?

Answer

All guests are able to eat any of the snacks, appetizers, salad, entrees, and any drinks or desserts. The bar is a premium open bar free to guests for the first 3 hours, and the last hour will be a cash bar in which case after the 3 hours, you would need to pay for alcoholic drinks and/or soda. Enjoy!

Can I request songs with the DJ?

Answer

Yes, you can! But know that they might not get to all the requests, as a song list will be provided to them of songs wanting to be played at the event.

What type of gift is best?

Answer

If you would like, rather than gifts, you can donate to our Honeymoon Fund to the Maldives on the Registry tab of this website! The button on that page brings you to Venmo! Even just a greeting card would be greatly appreciated! We will have a card box day of!

What time do I arrive?

Answer

You are more than welcome to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the events start! Feel free to ask the staff any questions you might have when you arrive!

Where do I park?

Answer

Ceremony: Parking is available in the parking lot behind St. Stanislaus Church, as well as free street parking on Eld Street and in front of the church on State Street. Reception: Parking is available on the right side of the castle!

Can I take photos?

Answer

Yes! Photos are encouraged! This will not be an "unplugged" wedding! Feel free to take photos and videos at your pleasure! Instructions are to come at the reception for where you can upload photos and videos you take for the Bride and Groom to view after the wedding!
