What does “Second Wedding Chic” mean?
Great question—we’re still figuring it out ourselves (like many things in our new blended life!).
We put it on the invitation as a bit of a joke, because honestly, we’re not too concerned with what anyone wears. That said, for those who like a little more guidance: think cocktail attire with a casual twist. No ties necessary. Dresses, jumpsuits, nice pants, fun shirts—it’s less about rules and more about feeling good and ready to celebrate.
In short: look nice, but be comfortable. No need to overthink it (unless you want to, in which case, go wild—we support you).
One thing that is not a joke—and that we’ve totally figured out—is the no gifts part.
We really mean it. Really.
