If you're interested in driving about 15 minutes you're bound for a fascinating adventure. There is a herd of buffalo on the island that are seen frequently (every time I've gone out). The island is named after the antelope herd but they are harder to see. The antelope are shy and well camouflaged. The original ranch house is still on the island and can be toured - Fielding Garr Ranch.
