Stefani and Jake met in March, 2020 when Stefani's roommates hosted a last hoorah "COVID Party" for St. Patrick's Day. She saw Jake, went up to him and started with the line "I bet you don't even know my name!" he responded "Yes I do, it's Stefani" when she responded with "Yeah, well I bet you don't know how its spelt!". After that, they went there separate ways as COVID shut down the world. Fast forward to November, 2020 Stefani and her roommates formed a small COVID crew that would hangout every weekend. Jake happened to get the special invite! It took the two of them a little time to figure out their feelings for each other, but on February 6, 2021 they went on a their first one on one date together and in that moment they knew they never wanted to be apart. They walked around the Town of Babylon, stopped at what’s now one of their favorite coffee shops, The Babylon Bean, got a donut at Doughology and spent quite a few hours together! They continued to hangout one on one and go on many dates together, but Jake never asked the question "Will you be my girlfriend?". Stefani assumed they were boyfriend and girlfriend, but never had that confirmation. At the beginning of May, 2021 Jake asked Stefani a big question...you would think it would be "Will you be my girlfriend?", right? Instead he asked me to take a 14 hour roadtrip to North Carolina to return his truck and meet his ENTIRE family! Well...she said yes. After meeting his entire family, he finally asked the question "Will you be my girlfriend?" she obviously responded YES and the rest is history. Almost 5 years later, and we are so beyond excited for our big day. Having all of our favorite people in one room is a dream come true. We cannot wait to continue our love story and have all of you there with us to start our forever!
