Yes, the hotel will offer a shuttle from Veracruz city to the hotel. The hotel shuttle costs $40 round trip per person.

What time are the shuttles returning?

Answer

There are shuttles Sunday and Monday returning! If your flight leaves early Monday morning on the 29th; I recommend taking the shuttle Sunday afternoon and stay the night in Veracruz city!

Is there bathrooms on the way to the hotel from airport?

Yes, but I don’t recommend it. The bathrooms are very dirty. I would go to the bathroom at the airport or wait for the hotel!

What if I want to rent a car?

The hotel does have shuttles, which you are welcome to use. You are welcome to rent a car at Veracruz airport. Note: The roads are very bumpy and renting a car does cost more in Mexico. What are the food options?

Answer

A breakfast buffet is included with your hotel room price ( hours: 7:00 am to 12 pm) You can order food and drinks throughout the day in many locations at the hotel including: room, pool, bars, cafe, and restaurant. Dinner: Each wedding event will have food for dinner. The Huatusco is about 5 minutes away and has many options to eat!

Are all the events at the Hotel Mision Los Cocuyos?

Answer

The majority of the wedding events are at the hotel. The only event not at the hotel is the wedding ceremony, which will be held at the cathedral in Huatusco. There will be charter buses picking guest up at the hotel to take you to the cathedral. (free of charge)

What is the cost of the Hotel?

The price for the hotel includes breakfast and several activities throughout the hotel. Hotel Price: 2 adults in a room for 3 nights: $6,500 pesos (about $320 dollars) 3 adults in a room for 3 nights: $ 8,700 pesos ( about $428 dollars) Children 4 years to 10 years addition to a room $450 pesos (about $22 dollars) Children 3 years or younger are free. Room price includes breakfast, tennis, table games, golf, and bicycles.

There are other hotels in the city of Huatusco. It is only a five-minute drive to the wedding location. These hotels are not the best.

What is the weather like in November in Huatusco?

Usually, in November, the weather is from the mid-'50s to the low 80's. It is in the mountains, so bring a sweater.

For women a long dress that touches the ground, and usually darker colors. For men a dark color tuxedo or nice suite.

Will I need to exchange Dollars into Pesos?

Answer

Yes! I would exchange at your local bank! You will need pesos for the shuttle, taxi, for tips and stores. The hotel does accept credit cards. Most restaurants in the town accept credit cards.

Is it safe in Mexico?

Yes, but there is always a risk anywhere you go. Be safe and watch your belongings. Do not go out exploring without a guide or native.

COVID- 19 Testing

We will have at the hotel a laboratory that will conduct the test for COVID- 19, so you can send the results to the airlines. Day: Friday 11/26/2021 Time: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm First come first serve. The cost is $40 per person. Please inform Tefi if you need the COVID-19 Test! If you are unvaccinated you will have to get your test done a day before your trip. What about COVID-19?

As of right now, we are hoping everything will calm down. The vaccine is out and hopes it will help combat COVID for next November. The majority of our family and wedding party have had the vaccine. We please ask all guests to take a COVID-19 test before their trip. All guests will be tested for COVID-19 before the wedding. If you test positive for COVID-19 we will ask you to stay in your room. We please ask the guest to wear PPE throughout their stay at the Hotel and at wedding events. We will make sure to provide PPE if needed during the event. At the wedding events before entering you will be sprayed down with sanitizer, your feet sanitized, given hand sanitizer, and temperature checked. If you have a high temperature you will be asked to go back to your room. We apologize for any inconvenience but we want to keep our guests safe.

Will the Wedding be cancelled if COVID is still a problem?

Yes, we will cancel the wedding if COVID becomes a bigger issue than what it is currently. We will keep our guests up to date on any changes.
