Ahh the age and time of online dating.. Are you ready to Buuummbbllee .. Bumble seemed to be the least douchey of online dating sites where the woman has to send the first message before you can begin chatting. Little did Matthew know that after he responded to the first message I would never shut up for the rest of his life =)) .. The conversations were easy and fun. It was exciting, we talked for a while before our first date which was 9/25/2021 at the twisted grape in sanford NC. That man was so charming and had me dying laughing the whole time. I fell in love with him quickly, he opened doors, he cooked for me, he fixed stuff, he's got great hair, handsome and has a great smile ... hello whole entire package. Dating wasn't always easy as we lived 2.5 hrs away from each other but we made it work. We moved slow and respected boundaries. We didn't meet each others children until well past the first year. Once we finally decided to cross that bridge we knew this has to be something we plan to continue. It was surprisingly easy once we did the kids got along well. Fast forward into a couple more years when they all get together you'd think they were blood. They play together , they also bicker fight and argue with each other (except the girls they are angels they just like to destroy our kitchen with baking which Matthew and I are proud to announce they have improved tremendously on ... for the most part ). Never did either of us think when we met that we’d become what we are but we are tremendously blessed to have each other and we are excited to be married in front of God and our families and friends .
