Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

July 15, 2023 within the RSVP section on our wedding website. Please contact Stefania or Marek if you have any questions.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Both the Welcome Celebration and Wedding Day will be outdoors (weather permitting). We will have indoor options for both days in the event of poor weather. The weather in Florence in early September is typically fairly warm with temperatures slightly cooling in the evening. For the ladies, we recommend bringing a light jacket (if you get cold easily) since our events will mainly be outdoors. The dress code for the Welcome Celebration is Cocktail attire. For women, may we suggest cocktail dresses or fancy jumpsuits. For men, we suggest dress pants or chinos with a jacket (tie optional). The dress code for the Wedding is Formal/Black Tie Optional. For women, may we suggest midi or floor length gowns, and for men full suit with tie.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Our wedding will take place in Fiesole -- a town in the Tuscan hills just 5km outside of Florence. We want you to be able to choose your own adventure when it comes to planning your trip for our wedding. If you want city feel and views, there are countless hotels and Airbnb's to choose from in Florence proper. If you want country views, we can recommend Pensione Bencistà Fiesole or FH55 Hotel Villa Fiesole.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. (18y/o & up)

Question

Tips for renting a car

Answer

If you’re a non-EU citizen that would like to rent a car in Italy, it’s essential to hold an International Driver’s Permit (IDP). The Italian car rental company might not ask for it, but it is required by law that you have one, and it may be requested during a police check. While driving abroad, you must always have your IDP along with your national license at all times. All visitors from non-EU countries and non-EEA countries who plan to drive in Italy must make sure they obtain an IDP in their home country or country of residence before they travel.
