Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

There are two RSVPs to note: The first is for our Save the Date. This lets us know if you'd like to receive a formal wedding invitation by mail. Please RSVP via the website link by June 30th. The second RSVP will be included with your formal invitation. Once received, kindly respond through the wedding website by August 30th.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Dress Code: Black-Tie Optional Tuxedos and floor-length gowns are preferred, but not required. We kindly ask guests to dress in formal evening attire in rich, fall-inspired tones to match the elegance of the occasion.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain tucked away during the ceremony. Our professional photographers and videographers will be capturing each moment with care, allowing you to be fully present as we exchange vows. During the reception, you’re welcome to take photos of yourself and fellow guests as we celebrate. We do ask, however, that phones be set aside during special moments such as our first dance, the father-daughter dance, and other featured events, so everyone can enjoy the experience without distraction.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We’re registered through our Zola registry, which is linked here on our wedding website. While you’re welcome to bring a gift to the wedding, we kindly ask that gifts be mailed to the address listed in the registry if possible—just to save us the extra juggling on the big day! There will be a secure box at the venue for cards and cash gifts, and a designated gift table.

Question

When should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please arrive to The Prado - El Morro Gardens by 4:00 PM to allow time for parking, walking to the venue, saying hello, and getting comfortably seated before we begin.

Question

Should we bring our children?

Answer

Yes—children listed on your invitation are warmly welcome. We kindly ask that they remain seated and supervised during the ceremony and reception. During special moments, such as first dances, we ask that little ones refrain from running or playing on the dance floor so that our photographers and videographers can beautifully capture these memories, and all guests can fully enjoy the celebration. For parents of young children, a quiet space will be available just outside the venue should you need a short break during the festivities.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

Parking Information There is parking available for both the ceremony and reception at The Prado at Balboa Park. Closest Lot: Alcazar Parking Lot Located just behind The Prado, this lot is a short walk to the venue and includes accessible spaces.
