The Arnprior and District Museum is located under the distinctive clock tower in the heart of downtown Arnprior, Ontario. Permanent and travelling exhibits are located on two floors and there are several inspiring video exhibits to view. Exhibits are changed and refreshed often so visitors can experience Arnprior’s vast material culture. They cover all aspects of life in an Ottawa Valley town with roots in the lumber industry at the confluence of the Ottawa and Madawaska Rivers.
Robert Simpson Park is the crown jewel of parks in the Ottawa Valley. Nestled along the shores of the Ottawa and Madawaska – where the rivers meet – this park offers ample amenities for a memorable day outdoors or for celebrating a special occasion.
