We would love for you to dress up with us! We are requesting cocktail attire for our wedding. Think knee-length or midi-length cocktail dresses, snazzy jumpsuits, or formal separates for ladies, and sports coats & pants or suits for the gentlemen – no jeans please. October in Maryland fluctuates in temperature (anywhere from 40-75 degrees) so we recommend checking the weather ahead of time! The reception will be in a climate-controlled tent, but the ceremony will be outside – so be prepared for a slight chill!
While we love your children, please understand that this is an adults-only event with the exception of our ring bearers. We hope you use this as an excuse to leave the kids with a babysitter and enjoy a night out!
If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP. While we would love to accommodate everyone, due to venue constraints we are limited in our guest count. If you think we have missed someone in your party, please reach out to us well in advance of the RSVP deadline.
Yes! There is free parking on site at the venue. The GPS address is 668 Friendship Road, North Beach, MD 20714. Follow directions to this location and there will be multiple parking lots on arrival. Cars can be left overnight in the parking lot, so please no drinking and driving!
Please arrive at the ceremony no later than 4pm so we have ample time to get everyone seated and are able to start on time. If you are late, we ask that you wait in the parking lot until the ceremony has concluded.
We plan to provide buses to and from the ceremony and reception. We will post this information on the “Travel” tab when we have more details to share. We are tentatively planning to have the bus make stops at the Rod’N’Reel Resort, the Inn at Herrington Harbour, and The Chesapeake Ballroom & Lawn venue site, but please include where you plan on staying in your RSVP to help us accommodate additional locations. The Inn is about a 15-20 walk around the marina to the reception site, however, we do not recommend walking after it’s dark out. There are limited Ubers/Lyfts in the area, but they are unreliable as a transportation method. Please make sure you have planned transportation ahead of time.
Yes absolutely! We would love to see all the angles you capture. We don’t have a videographer for our wedding, so we appreciate any little tidbits our guests capture during the ceremony and reception. We are looking into an app that guests can upload and share all their photos and videos to!
Yes! Please let us know on your RSVP and meal selection if you have any dietary restrictions. If you have more specific questions and concerns, please reach out to us.
