Sister of the Bride Tori and Lucas got married four years ago, also on Labor Day Weekend. It's lucky things worked out with Tuan for many reasons — one being that he's in all of their wedding photos. She’s the one who suggested this wedding date for Stef and Tuan. Some say it’s because she secretly wants joint anniversary plans for life.

Friend of the Groom Tuan and Nick met in high school at a tennis academy in Florida. With Tuan’s brother unable to attend, Nick is stepping in as best man — an easy choice as someone who’s shown up in all the right ways and never misses a chance to hype Tuan up. Twenty bucks says he’s the last one standing at the after party.

And Officiant! Friend of the Bride Stef and Rebecca met at law school orientation and quickly hit it off. She and her husband Andrew are two of Stef and Tuan’s closest friends. They've only asked Rebecca to officiate though, partly because she knows them so well and partly because she’s the one who has a better chance of making it through the ceremony without getting choked up.

Friend of the Bride Stef and Haley became friends in high school and spent summers hiking in the White Mountains and singing along to Taylor Swift in the car. You could call it peak friendship.

Friend of the Groom Tuan became friends with Andrew through Stef and Rebecca. They don’t get to talk very often, but when they do, it’s usually still through Stef and Rebecca.
Emily Dunn

Friend of the Bride Stef met Emily in fifth grade and immediately wanted to be her friend because she was in band and seemed effortlessly cool. The two grew up together and, along with Haley, have been a trio ever since, though Em has kindly asked not to be invited hiking anymore.
VA Nguyen
Groomsman
Friend of the Groom Tuan and VA have been close friends since early childhood in Russia and eventually moved to Florida together for tennis. Neither became a pro, but at least they’re still good friends.
