Like all great modern romances, ours began… on Hinge (yes, we’re that couple) and while meeting online is common, what we’ve found in each other is anything but. We set up our first date for August 5th, 2023: a date that would quickly become way more than just a dinner. From the second we saw eachother, it felt like the world faded out and it was just us. We connected on so many levels. We had deep conversations, shared values, and felt that magical unspoken understanding that makes you feel instantly at peace! We laughed, we opened up, and we found comfort in the fact that we both came from traditional Italian families, where love is loud, meals are sacred, and family always comes first. We learned so much about each other that night, and it never once felt like a first date. It felt like picking up where we left off in a different lifetime. When I went home, I told my friends and family, “I just met my future husband.” No exaggeration. Since that night, we’ve been absolutely inseparable. We skipped the guessing and dove headfirst into something beautiful, honest, deep, and full of love. That’s why August 5th isn’t just our first date; it’s our anniversary.
