Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is 'traditional English wedding'. This means suits and ties for gentlemen (not black tie or tuxedos) and dresses for ladies, with hats or fascinators as optional.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

If you are traveling and plan to stay a few days, please let us know. We would love to meet up with you before or after the wedding. We will likely organize a dinner in London with guests who have flown in early.

WIll I have time to check-in after the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, hotel check-in is at 3pm, and we will give guests time between the ceremony and dinner to check in. You can request an earlier check-in directly with the hotel.

Do I bring gifts with me?

Answer

Yes, if you would like to. You can also have them shipped directly to us at our Kinoulton address (9 Kinoulton Lane, Kinoulton, Nottinghamshire, NG12 3EQ). We would prefer for gifts to be sent there rather than our New York apartment which is already full to bursting!

Will there be a choice of food on the day?

Answer

The chef has requested we select one meal for all guests. All dietary restrictions will be catered for including vegetarian. Children will be offered a child-friendly meal.

Answer

Your invite will indicate if you are invited to bring a partner, and we have catered specifically for these guest numbers.

Yes, we have indicated on your invite who is invited.

Answer

John Lewis (a UK department store). We also have a honeymoon fund if you prefer to give cash.

The ceremony will start promptly at 1.30pm

Yes, there is ample parking at the venue

Answer

Ceremony and reception are both at the same location, Great Fosters in Surrey.
