Dana and Stefan worked together as teachers for about 2 years and hardly spoke (besides when someone picked up their class late from PE) . Then the last week before winter break, Stefan decided to crash the 3rd grade field trip to Winter Wonderfest. From there, a conversation started about what they were up to for the Christmas holiday. Dana mentioned her running family tradition of seeing "It's a Wonderful Life" at the Music Box Theater and extended a friendly invitation ( she knew what she was doing!). While waiting for the movie to start, a trailer for "Heavy Weights" played, sparking instant childhood memories for both. This gave Stefan an opportunity to ask her out. Then followed the best 12 hour date either of them had ever been on, complete with "Heavy Weights", dinner at the Brick House in Wrigley, coffee, salsa dancing and walking the streets of downtown Chicago until 3 in the morning. From that point they knew, it was more than just a feeling. It was clear that God brought them together.
