We are a couple known to most as Brianna and Steve, and sometimes Steve and Brianna, depending on the person whom may reference us! (This FAQ was brought to you by Stefan Bigboy)
*Guests can find street parking or use either the Ahlberg parking lot (across the street west of Callahan House on Terry St.) or the Times Call parking lot on the NW corner of 4th Ave and Terry St. *Please DO NOT park in the Ahlberg lot directly north of Callahan House. *Please DO NOT drive or park on either of the historic driveways belonging to Callahan House.
There will be an open bar with beer and wine only. No need to bring any money for drinks, but tips for the bartender are always appreciated. :)
Absolutely! There will be lawn games in the garden and many other children to play with. We simply ask that you indicate to us in your RSVP if you are bringing your children with you so we can plan accordingly for food, seats, etc.
All events including the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors in the garden. It is mostly grass throughout so please plan your shoes accordingly. There are many trees that offer shade in the late afternoon, but bringing a sun hat could be helpful if you desire. Bathrooms are located inside the house and the historic house is available to wander around at your leisure.
The garden is all on a flat grassy surface and hopefully easy to maneuver with a wheelchair. There is a ramp to the entrance of the house and an accessible bathroom on the first floor.
We recommend cocktail garden attire (sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, neckties, and fun hats and fascinators) for our outdoor late Spring/Summer wedding. Please wear what you're most comfortable in and plan comfortable shoes to wear for the grass.
