This is the church we have started going to together since getting engaged. Sunday morning services at 9am or 11 am.
Stef's church when we met. Service is at 10am and goes until about 12pm. Church is held in an open air barn so come prepared for the temperature! Be sure to show up early to make sure you can get seats inside :)
Alex's church for the last 3 years. Sunday mornings at 9am or 11 am.
This is one of Alex's favorite spots and one of the best views of downtown. If you are wanting to explore the riverfront before heading downtown, the pedestrian bridge walk is a must.
Where we went the night we started dating. A Nashville must do! Get tickets ahead of time!
"Acme Feed + Seed - Where the Locals Go!" We are not big Broadway people, but if you are wanting to listen to some good live music while still having some breathing room - Acme is a great spot to land and has a great rooftop over looking the riverfront. Their frosé is a favorite.
Get the queso...trust us.
Stefanie's all time favorite burger pick!
Alex's all time favorite burger pick!
Top chicken tender spot in Nashville (depending on who you ask between the two of us you will get a different ranking). If you're a banana pudding person, don't start counting calories now :)
This is, hands down, some of the best Italian food you will ever find. If you're staying closer to Columbia, Mama Mila's is a MUST (order the Fat Tony and thank us later)... Be warned, there is always a line out the door. Pro tip: skip the line and head to the take out line instead, then sneak next door to Bradley Mountain for outdoor seating and to grab a glass of wine!
Our favorite fries and soft serve ice cream spot on 12 south!
A local fav! There are so many locations around town so find the one closest to you. Stef's fav is the Brown Butter Almond Brittle - Alex is more of a chocolate guy!
An Australian breakfast dinner that we love! One located in 12 south and another in East Nashville.
We've loved our French inspired dates at Perenn! Be sure to make reservations well ahead of time OR check out their smaller location on Sidco for pastries and quick bites.
Local sourdough bagel/breakfast spot near Brentwood that we love getting breakfast from! The Big Boi bagel sandwich is our all time fav. Stef get's the rosemary bagel, Alex likes his blueberry bagel. Have fun picking yours!
Best coffee in Franklin with another location in downtown Columbia. The Fleur de Salted Carmel Latte is perfection. (But you won't go wrong no matter what you order)!
One of Stef's favorite places to get coffee. Get the Barcelona! (Note- you will try to recreate this drink at home and you will fail, so just enjoy it while it lasts).
Known for their eccentric coffee combinations and 10/10 breakfast burritos! We love the location in Germantown for their outdoor seating and proximity to all things Germantown.
Frothy is a Nashville classic with locations all over town. This is a great spot for a coffee and a quick bite!
We tend to head to Honest Coffee for acai bowls and breakfast burritos after the gym. There are several locations throughout the city with the most popular spot being located in the Franklin Factory.
The Factory is a food hall and shopping venue near downtown Franklin. You can find some of Nashville's food favorites in the Factory including Edley's BBQ, Jeni's Ice Cream, 5 Daughters Donuts, Honest Coffee, Two Hands, and Mojo Tacos. Have fun!
A local vineyard with a laid back atmosphere with great wine and views of the Tennessee country. One of our favorites! Bring your own blanket + charcuterie but be sure to grab a wine flight and then enjoy the views!
Stefanie's favorite spot in the heart of Nashville for hiking and trail running! Afterwards, you can head down the road to Cheekwood Estates to tour the gardens and mansion on the property. Be sure to buy tickets ahead of time if you chose to go to the Estate :)
Radnor is a local favorite for a light hike! Get there earlier in the day to avoid fighting for traffic. If you have a furry friend with you, note that you can only stay on the main paved trail.
Unfortunately, this is not Greece...but if you want a *unique* walk in the park, head to the Nashville Parthenon! Afterwards, you can head to Parlor Doughnuts up the road. The perfect Nashville combo!
