Father Hennepin State Park
Father Hennepin State Park is a state park located on the southeast corner of Mille Lacs Lake. The park is named after Father Louis Hennepin, a priest who visited the area with a French expedition in 1680. The 320-acre park has numerous trails suited for biking and hiking, beachside picnic areas, fishing piers, and a sandy beach over one mile long. Take in the sights of the lake and the many different mammals and birds that call this park home.
