There are numerous Airbnb options in Birmingham. If you choose to stay in an Airbnb, we recommend staying close to 5 Points South because many wedding activities will be taking place in that area.

Flight

Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport

Birmingham has its own airport with some direct flight options. A word of caution is that flights out of the Northeast can be cancelled very easily and it can be hard to find another flight on short notice. If you want to fly into Birmingham, we recommend getting a connecting flight. Atlanta is the best place to connect through.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Flights into Atlanta typically have better time options and tend to be more reliable. The Atlanta airport is only a 2 hour drive from Birmingham, and we drive over to Atlanta for flights regularly.

Getting Around the City

For out of town guests, Birmingham has Uber and Lyft for getting around the city. For guests that are driving in, there will be plenty of parking at all events. There is also free street parking in the downtown area on the weekends.
