It all started when two people swiped right on Bumble in August of 2022. Jim was in Wildwood on vacation with his family so we had to wait to meet up until he returned. On August 23, Jim and Brittany met for dinner at Jose Tejas. They hit it off, and Brittany knew there was something special about Jim. She called her best friend and told her that this was the man she was going to marry. The next day, Brittany waited for Jim to text her, but she did not hear from him for 24 hours. He did not want to come off too strong. After he texted her, they spent the next few weeks going on as many dates as they could, having long phone conversations, and introducing each other to their families. They knew that this relationship was going to be something special and both enjoyed falling in love.

Jim and Brittany decided instead of exchanging Christmas gifts in 2023, that they would plan a fun day together. They booked the VIP treatment at World Spa in Brooklyn and planned on going to Michael's of Brooklyn for dinner. Jim knew he was going to propose that day, but was still trying to figure out the perfect spot. He had visited a park in the area with his father when he was younger and thought that might be a nice place.  Unfortunately, by the time we were in the car, the park looked too dark, so Jim decided to propose during dinner. He got down on one knee and asked Brittany to spend the rest of their lives together.
