We are getting married!

Justin and Lindsey met while they were living in Tampa, FL. Lindsey was attending grad school at the University of South Florida and Justin was working for the Tampa Bay Lightning. We were each looking for someone special to be in our lives, but little did we know that we would meet THE ONE! Our first date was in February 2012 and we went to Tampa Grand Prix where we were played mini golf and rode the go karts, followed by dinner at Cracker Barrel. The next weekend Justin was brave enough to have our second date with my dad and step-mom. We went to the Florida Strawberry Festival and saw the one-and-only Air Supply perform. Within a few weeks, we could both tell this was something special. Lindsey had three more years of her doctoral program and Justin was at a turning point in his career. He left his job at the Lightning to go into medical sales, and only 3 months after meeting Lindsey, he was offered a job in Pittsburgh. Most of you know how this ended... Justin and Lindsey stayed in Tampa for 3 more years. :-) When Lindsey matched at a psychology internship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute & Johns Hopkins University (a dream come true!), Lindsey and Justin moved to Baltimore, MD to begin the next part of their journey together. This was not an easy two years, so weekly date nights, mini vacas to look forward to, and good communication became especially important. After Lindsey's postdoctoral fellowship, they decided to move to Pittsburgh, PA. A year after moving to the area, Lindsey and Justin were thrilled with their new jobs and enjoying living in Pittsburgh. A week before Justin's birthday 2018, Justin asked Lindsey if he could pick out his birthday gift. August 17, 2018, Justin pleaded with Lindsey to let him open his gift a day early. Since Justin had made a delightful homemade dinner, Lindsey agreed. Justin began to open the gift and inside was a BEAUTIFUL DIAMOND RING and he popped the question! ;-)
