How They Met

November 23, 2017

Their story begins with the internet. No, not a dating website... Facebook. She seen him in the "People You May Know" section. They had 19 mutual friends. She requested, he accepted. After a few months of comments and likes they finally met the evening of 11/23/17! It was Thanksgiving and Austin's birthday. He welcomed her outside of Gregory's Bar in Somers Point, NJ. They introduced themselves with their names and exchanged a hug hello! They really hit it off that evening and from that moment on they both were inseparable!

When they Came Together

June 22, 2018

As their feelings grew stronger they spent as much time as possible together. After 6 wonderful months of dating they played around with the idea of living together. Between Austin with his pets, and Shannon with her daughter Gianna, it was hard for them to be together on the level they were looking for. The talk of buying a house together led them to house shopping. Before they knew it they put a bid on a house. They won that bid and moved in on 6/22/18. They finally had a home they could call their own.

The Proposal

September 29, 2018

This was the day Austin took the leap. All the family was there at their home for Gianna's birthday dinner. While cleaning up from dessert, Austin whiped up the courage to drop on one knee in the middle of the kitchen to ask for her hand in marriage. With her hands covered in icing and the family without their phones for pictures she said "Wait what?" She ran to the sink to quickly wash her hands, while the family got their phones out to capture the moment. He repeated himself and she happy excepted! Call it luck or call it fate! It didn't take them long to know what they had was forever!
