Built in 1543 by Sir John Hynde, Madingley Hall served as the residence of Hynde's descendants until the 1860s, when Queen Victoria rented it as a home for her son, future King Edward VII, during his years as a student at the University of Cambridge. In 1871, it was purchased by the University, and now serves as an academic facility.

Join us for a meet and greet with your fellow guests in this lovely thatched-roof pub in Madingley. For the uninitiated, a Rehearsal Dinner is a pre-wedding event in which guests and the married-to-be couple may mingle before the big event. It is a common tradition in the United States.
