The ceremony will begin at 2:30 in Savanna at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. We are not having a full Catholic Mass, simply just our wedding ceremony. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony in order to find a parking spot and a place to sit!
Our bridal party is wearing blush pink maxi dresses and navy blue suits. You may dress casual, clean jeans, nice shirt or dress & suits. We are easy going and just want you celebrating the start of our lives together with our family!
There is a bar within the reception hall as well as the golf course bar, Sand Burr. The reception hall will open for cocktail hour beginning at 4:00pm. Don’t worry, we won’t be long!
Please do not stress about a gift, your presence on our special day is the best gift you can give! If you are someone who feels that it is a must, we are registered at Target and Menards. As we have lived together for quite some time now, we have registered for items that will help us renovate our home to our liking. We plan to do an addition within the next year and would love your help & support with a gift card or cash.
Please RSVP by September 6th to help us prepare the bar and caterer. This also helps our setup crew prepare so there is room for everyone! If you don’t RSVP, please bring a chair and a packed lunch ;)
Of course you can, please RSVP for yourself and your guest. If you are unsure about the number of people you may bring, you may contact us or a close relative of ours!
We are a family friendly group! Our son Wylin will be at the wedding, along with our nieces, nephews, and cousins. Please bring your little ones, they are a blessing to all!
Yes, we have blocked off several rooms at several different hotels! Sandburr is located in the parking lot of the reception hall and may be your best bet on a cozy place to sleep if you intend on staying late! Savanna Inn & Suites is a great option and will pick you up from the reception to ensure everyone safety. The Americ Inn is located in Fulton and a good option as well.
Everyone is invited to both, please feel free to attend the ceremony and reception. If you are busy and can’t make the ceremony or dinner, don’t feel bad! We would love for you to join us for some cocktails and dancing!
Please use your phone only if necessary. We understand life happens and emergencies can occur but we have a photographer so enjoy everything around you until after the ceremony.
Of course you can! Just remember to add our hashtag so we can look back on our wedding for years to come by searching “#StealingSturty”!
If you’d like, you may RSVP simply on this website for both ceremony and reception. You may also do both if you feel most comfortable doing so.
