“I do!”

After many months of being open about our feelings for each other, but not being comfortable pursuing a relationshit yet, we decided to become official! The odds were stacked against us immediately, but we powered through them all to get to where we are today!

We quickly found out we were becoming parents. Sefton was immediately prepared to stand by my side, even though it was scary and sudden. While pregnancy and labor were definitely rough, we were given the cutest little bean as a gift for the hard work! Lillian was born on September 09, 2017, just ONE day before her due date!

This is always the part where the funny look comes. Yes, HE said yes! I was working and sefton was a stay-at-home dad while I was doing the job I enjoyed. We had discussed the idea on and off over the last couple of months, and I decided that I wanted to ask him! We’d already reversed all of the assigned gender roles, why not? (plus, it meant i got to pick my ring without ruining the surprise! how many ladies can say that?) He said yes and the planning for our far-off, someday slowly began.
