Answer

Nobody wants a cookie cutter wedding and not just another wedding. Those days are long gone. We want to create a memory, either good or bad, with you. You were an important part of our lives and we want to have an intimate wedding and having more than just one night because we want to actually hang out with you 😜.

🏖️ What day should I arrive at the resort?

We recommend you to arrive one or two days before the wedding date to explore around. There are a ton of awesome things to do in Cancun. Check out our "Fun Activities" tab for some of our recommendations 🤪.

🤔 How and where should I book?

Answer

Mavelle, our wedding planner, takes pride in the ability to make booking easy for guests looking to travel. It is highly recommended that you book through Mavelle. By booking through Mavelle, you will be able to make reservations similar to other, stay in the room block, and help us to make wedding planning a breeze! Mavelle will reach out to you via email (Eduador@mavelle.com) to reserve your room. They will provide you the room rate and booking information. You can pay by credit or debit card. It's important to book as a group so that we will get a guarantee group rate, pre-assigned room block for our own group, private check-in, welcome drink, restaurant group reservation, and 10% spa discount (their spa is amazing!) 🤗.

🤭 When should I book my reservation?

Answer

We encourage you to make your room reservation first, and as soon as possible. Having your travel booked right away gets the buzz of excitement going and will influence us to become more hyper, excited and extra happy! In addition, air flight is best to book at least 4-6 months in advances to for best rate. Ideal price for the flight is $350 round trip from all local airports (IAD, DCA, and BWI) ✈️

🤨 What if I want to stay at a different resort or elsewhere?

It’s understandable that the voyage to the destination is also a vacation for you as well and everyone has their preferences. By staying off the resort, you will risk not having the same conveniences and experiences as everyone else. We much appreciate having you around for wedding activities throughout the week.

🤑 What if I find a cheaper price?

Unlike most resorts, Royalton Riviera Cancun is only 3 years old and an All-In Luxury resorts, there are not many sales going on for their resorts. They guarantee us the best rate for our guests during our wedding week. In addition, it’s very important to book through Mavelle. Your reservation is 100% guaranteed and backed by the resorts ability to provide the highest level of customer service and extra extension if needed at any time during travel.

Typically, processing a new passport takes up to a couple of months, if you don’t currently have a passport, please look into completing this task as soon as possible. You can get all of the most up to date information at travel.state.gov. • For U.S. Citizen, a passport is hands-down the best form of identification and proof of citizenship. • For Permanent Resident of the United States, the I-551 Permanent Resident card (Green Card) is required for return to the U.S. • For entry into Mexico, Citizens of Vietnam do not require a Mexico visa as long as they hold a valid visa or permanent resident status in the United States
