We met in February 2025 through a Christian fellowship, Skyler living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Tyler in Austin, Texas. From the start, we connected through our shared faith, values, and commitment to staying centered in Christ. We soon found out that our lives had been parallel for many years, yet we never crossed paths. We lived in the same city within minutes of each other, worked at the same job, and frequented some of the same areas. The Lord decided it was time and set us together, and we had been inseparable ever since. Despite the distance, we spent countless hours on FaceTime and drove miles every month to see each other never once with regret. What seemed impossible quickly turned into true love, and in December 2025, during a Disney vacation, our journey took a beautiful turn when we got engaged. We are thankful to share this moment with our family and friends, and look forward to growth and confidence in what the Lord will continue to do for our marriage.
