Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is formal, black tie-optional. We invite you to dress to impress! Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a dark-colored suit with a tie or a tuxedo. Ladies, we suggest showcasing that floor-length gown and elegant heels you’ve been eager to wear. For some inspiration please see the photos above!

Question

What is the schedule for the wedding day?

Answer

Mass begins at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church at 2:00 pm. The Cocktail Hour and Reception begin at 5:00 pm at the Eau Gallie Yacht Club.

Question

What should we do between Mass and the Cocktail Hour?

Answer

There will be about an hour and a half between Mass and the start of the cocktail hour. We suggest taking some time to freshen up and grab a drink! The Element Hotel and Hilton Oceanfront are right across the street from the church and have bars that overlook the ocean! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with friends, enjoy the beautiful views, and get ready to celebrate!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you are seated as the ceremony will promptly begin at 2:00 pm. We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during Mass, as we will have professional photographers capturing every special moment.

Question

What color are the bridesmaids wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be in champagne.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided for our wedding to be a formal adult-only occasion, with the exception of a few teenage family members. Children will be included on your RSVP if this scenario applies to you. We hope that this advance notice means you are still able to come and share our big day with us!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to limited space, we’re only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on the invitation. If your invitation includes a plus-one, you’ll see their name or “+ Guest” on the online RSVP.

Question

What is the best way to travel to both the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We suggest driving or taking an Uber to the ceremony and we recommend using Uber for transportation to and from the reception venue.

Question

What should we expect at a Catholic Wedding Ceremony?

Answer

A Catholic wedding is a meaningful ceremony focusing on the sacrament of marriage. The ceremony includes scripture readings, the exchange of the vows, the Liturgy of the Eucharist, and a blessing. We will be providing programs for those who wish to follow along and actively participate.
