* At Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, six car rental companies operate at the Arrivals level of the Main Terminal Building * To rent a car in Greece there are specific requirements outlined here: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/travel/driving-abroad/index_en.htm * Check with your Car Insurance Company to obtain a discounted International Driver's Permit (e.g. https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html) * Please review the general requirements for driver qualification listed for the specific rental car company you are renting from.

Bus information (Athens to Neapoli)
* Head to the regional bus stop located in the Arrivals area at the Athens Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, between exits 2 and 3, in front of the Sofitel Airport Hotel and take the bus towards Kifissos Bus Station. * At the terminal, get on the bus to Neapolis, Lakonia. * Once in Neapolis, go to the Pounta Pier, which is about 15 minutes away from Neapolis (Easier by taxi. Alternatively, a bus line is also available). * Finally, from Pounta Pier, take the ten-minute ferry transfer that will take you to Elafonisos. The ferry, in season, is available every half hour from 7.00 to 24.00 and tickets can be purchased on site before boarding the ferry, it is not possible to book them online.
