Where and when is the wedding?

Answer

Saturday, October 25 at 4:30 PM Lippincott Manor, 69 Lippincott Road Wallkill, NY 12589 The ceremony will be held outside (approx 20 mins beginning at 4:30 PM) with daylight temperatures in the mid 50s. As the sun sets, the air may feel cooler so consider bringing a sweater or jacket. Reception, dinner and dancing to follow in the adjoining tent with heaters as needed.

Transportation between Hotel and Ceremony?

Answer

YES - we have just secured transportation (local school bus) from the Holiday Inn Express in Montgomery to and from the wedding venue. Note there is only one pickup time each way and the ride is 15 minutes so please be prompt if you wish to take the bus. 4:00 PM Bus Departure from Holiday Inn Express to Lippincott Manor 10:00 PM Bus Departure from Lippincott Manor to Holiday Inn Express

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is rustic, casual elegance: outdoor friendly, LAYERS with comfortable shoes. Think polished but relaxed — like what you'd wear to a nice dinner. Further suggestions are below. Depending on the temperature, you may want to wear a sweater or light jacket during the ceremony outside. Once the ceremony concludes, the cocktail hour and dinner will be in the tent which can be heated if chilly. Here are a few suggestions: For Women: * Flowy dresses or skirts, jumpsuits, or stylish separates * Layers encouraged — shawls, jackets, or cardigans * Flats, wedges, or block heels (we'll be on grass for the ceremony and request lots of dancing!) For Men: * Collared shirts or sweaters with chinos or dress pants * No tie required * Loafers or clean casual shoes MOST OF ALL - WEAR WHATEVER YOU ARE COMFORTABLE IN!

What's on the menu?

Answer

Food will be served buffet style and there will be a variety of options including beef, fish and chicken. If you have very special dietary restrictions that require a special meal, please reach out to me as quickly as possible at 914-462-2713 so we can try to arrange something in advance to meet your needs.

Coming from out of town?

If you will be in town FRIDAY evening, we are having an 'open house' at our nearby VRBO with some light food and beverages and we would love for you to stop by in the afternoon or early evening and say hello before the big day! Reach out to Leslie at 914-462-2713 for address details. If you will be in town on SUNDAY morning and have some time before heading home, please join us at Angry Orchard (7 mins south of venue) where we have reserved some picnic tables beginning at 12:00 PM for anyone that would like to stop by and join us for a few laughs and relaxation at the lovely and nearby Angry Orchard cider house! With hard ciders available for sampling and food truck vendors if you get hungry, it's a fun, casual atmosphere to share some laughs and memories before heading home.
