Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a couple of options for the Hood River area: The most preferred stay is at the Westcliff Lodge Hood River. From here its a 2 minute drive and a 6 minute walk to and from the venue. Please call their office if there is no availability shown on their website. The next best stay would be at the Best Western Plus in downtown Hood River. It is along the board walk of the Columbia River. Staying here would allow you to see more of the charms of the town for your longer stay. We do not recommend staying in the Portland metro area as it's an hour drive from Hood River and the reception ends at 10PM.

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is limited to 30 cars at the venue. There will be a shuttle-like system or a carpool system to reduce the number of cars at the lot. If you must park at the venue with your personal vehicle (non-carpool), please contact Steven&Natalie to make arrangements.

When should I arrive?

Answer

TGH's parking lot gates open promptly at 4PM. We will have a carpooling system so that everyone arrives at TGH at or before 4:15PM. Carpooling at the Best Western Plus should leave at 3:50PM to arrive between 4:00PM and 4:05PM. Carpooling at the Westcliff Lodge Hood River should leave at 4:00PM to arrive at 4:05PM.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please wear layers if possible. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside. While the reception is in a heated tent, there my be breezes coming in from the gorge. Dress code is business casual to formal. Wear any color other than white/ivory and burgundy, please.
