What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony and reception is black-tie preferred. We request that guests wear a tuxedo, or, if you are unable to wear a tuxedo, to wear a dark suit. For those who are opting to wear dresses, full length dresses are preferred.

Are children welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, children are not welcome as this is an adults only event.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Invitations are limited to those addressed on your invitation. Anyone who is not addressed on the invitation is not permitted at the event.

Will transportation be provided to and from the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will be provided to the wedding from the Draftsman Hotel and the Hyatt Place Hotel, and will also be provided from the wedding back to the Draftsman and Hyatt Place at the conclusion of the reception. Those staying at alternative accommodations may receive a ride from the pickup locations at the Draftsman or Hyatt Place. For those who plan to arrange their own transportation, Early Mountain Vineyard has ample parking available, and Ubers and Lyfts are readily available in Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. Ambassador Limousine Company will be picking up everyone at the Draftsman hotel promptly at 4:45 p.m. The bus will be waiting at Stacy Hall, directly across Main Street from the Draftsman. There will be a bus picking up everyone at the Hyatt Place at 5:00 p.m. Please make sure to be at either pickup location prior to the pickup time to ensure that you do not miss the bus, as these are very strict departure times. There will be two shuttles taking guests back to the Draftsman or Hyatt Place at the conclusion of the reception. The early shuttle will take guests from the venue back to these hotels at 10:00 p.m. The late shuttle will depart from the venue to these hotels at midnight. Please make sure to be outside of the venue prior to these departure times to ensure that you do not miss the bus, as these are very strict departure times.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. Please make sure to arrive by 6:00 p.m. to ensure a prompt start time.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

All wedding invitations will contain a RSVP card along with a return envelope. Please fill out the card and mail it back to the address provided.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVP's must be received by April 26th, 2025.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture these special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony.
