Neither of us are great at doing things traditionally, so of course our housewarming and wedding had to be a bit unconventional too. Between us loving the sound of a "Triple H" (ie: Halloween, Housewarming, Hitched) party and certain current events, this just felt right for us. Though this might not be how we originally pictured celebrating, we do have so much to be thankful for. We have a beautiful new home in a community we love, and amazing friends from near and far who've watched our relationship grow together. And honestly, a punny little party on a spooky night feels more us than some fancy over-the-top-event (even if it would've been fun to go full bougie for a day). But this night feels more true to who we are. After our first date of cute Asian desserts, a Broadway show, and high-end Thai food, we planned to have our next date at a gourmet fancy restaurant where we could revel in our foodiness. Instead, we couldn't wait to see each other (and we both had a hankering for Taco Bell) so our second date was in a dorm room sharing Taco Bell off an office table. This night may be the dorm room Taco Bell version of a wedding, but we hope it's still a special one cause we're with the people who matter most.
