Formal Life's a red carpet, and we're all just waiting for the paparazzi to show up. It's not just clothing; it's a Met Gala event where your creativity in looking absolutely fabulous is STRICTLY mandatory. For those who choose to wear suit, have at it. Go for a color you've never tried before. Get out those outlandish socks, wear those cufflinks that you thought were so cool but thought you could never wear them out. Add glitter to your beard/hair or wear the funkiest tie you got. I believe in you. For those who want to wear a dress? Go for the ballgown. Go all out. Pretend you were waiting to walk down that red carpet. don't feel like wearing a ballgown? slay in your best cocktail dress. Wear the tiara, wear your best jewelry, go get your hair done and treat yourself.
For my friends/family who aren't used to or acquainted with western cultural wedding traditions this is your guideline: -Do not wear white or ivory attire. That is only reserved for the bride. -Formal means both tuxedos and suits are allowed. The same can be said for floor length gowns and cocktail gowns! Mini gowns have also been given the green light for those with sensory issues and don't like long gowns.
Both! The Wedding Ceremony will be outdoors. Cocktail hour is both outdoor and indoor, and dinner and dancing will be indoor.
There is a Parking Lot available for guests!
Children will not be allowed attend, unfortunately. Although we love your children, due to space restrictions and our own personal feeling about kids being exposed to wild behavior from drunk adults, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day.
Alas, no. Unless your partner also received an invitation in the mail consider yourself only invited. Both the Groom and the Bride have many family and friends, narrowing the choices on both sides was quite a struggle.
We ask for an unplugged ceremony, please. We hired a photographer and videographer to handle the photos and videos for a reason. However, after the ceremony we'd be delighted for everyone to take as many photo's, videos, and tiktoks as possible haha! We kindly ask on Instagram you tag the wedding with the caption #starryknight
