There is only one version of this story *anything else is fake news* :) We met the night of Delta Sigma Theta's Founder's Day. We were at a party, and we were talking about building businesses. Sam said he would love to help me with one of my business ideas. Before we knew it, it was getting late and time to leave the party, but I caught an Uber there with about four of my line sisters. We went to summons an Uber, but the price was extremely high... so we hitched rides LOL! We knew we would be safe in the hands of the Ques (Omega Psi Phi). Needless to say Sam took me and one of my line sisters home. I got out of the car happily (because there was no heat LOL), but before I closed the door, he said "how can I help you with your business if I don't have your phone number..." The First Day of Our Forever!

In true "Sam fashion" this proposal involves red cups LOL On this day, we were at my mom's house. I was lounging around and looked like a hot mess. Well, Sam was doing his normal routine of cooking on the grill and cutting grass, so I was just watching tv. Sam says to me, come look outside. I go outside and clearly see red cups that spelled something across my mom's backyard. I kept saying, Sam what do you have going on now. Go get them cups out the yard... YALL.. The cups said "MARRY ME" & then he got on one knee spoke those words! I said "YES"
