We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and using the Minnesota Department of Health's Stay Safe Plan as a guideline. As of now, we will move forward with the wedding as is outlined in Phase III of the plan. Please note, as of July 25th there is a mask mandate for all public indoor spaces in Minnesota. This means we will be having a 'masquerade' wedding ;) Mask up! Masks will be available at the wedding, but please feel free to bring your own. We encourage you to take your temperature and monitor your own symptoms prior to attending as well. Stay Safe Plan: https://mn.gov/covid19/for-minnesotans/stay-safe-mn/stay-safe-plan.jsp
Well, we are just getting married anyway!! At this point, it is unlikely it will be canceled because we've chosen a venue that houses 1,000 people. However, if it happens, we'll just get married in our front yard with whoever can make it!
As of July 25th, the governor of Minnesota has implemented a mask mandate. So, yes - unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from being able to wear a mask. You can check out the MN Stay Safe Plan for more information on the mask mandate.
We cut our original list of 300 down to about 95. We expect there will be people that can't make it or don't feel comfortable coming (which we totally understand) so I am going to guess between 60-75 people will be in attendance.
YES! We went with this venue - our third venue - because of its size. The capacity is 1,000 people and Minnesota is allowing indoor facilities to be at 25% capacity. That means we are well within the limits! The ceremony seating will be set up in pairs of 2 (for household couples) that are 6-ft from the next set of chairs. It is up to each individual if they'd like to move their chairs closer. At the dessert reception we will have cocktail tables set up inside and outside - again 6ft or more apart. While eating and drinking, you are permitted to remove your mask indoors as long as you keep that 6ft distance.
