Answer

September 19th, 2025, 4:00PM

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at The Greenpoint Loft in Brooklyn, NY.

Question

How/when do I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP on this very website--just look at the top of the screen. Please send us your acceptances or regrets by July 25, 2025

Question

Do I have to RSVP? Can't I just tell you I'm going to be there (or not)?

Answer

Yep, you have to. For the sake of our sanity, please use the RSVP link at the top. If you are having issues with RSVPing online, please email us at starrandtyler2025@gmail.com

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, there is a limit on the guests we can invite and cannot accommodate a plus one for everyone. If you are a special case where we have allowed you a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Guests" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations may mean our hands are tied.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your little ones- we really do! However, due to many factors, our wedding is an adults only event. We appreciate you making prior arrangements

Question

What do I do if something changes and I can/can't make it after I have RSVPed?

Answer

We understand things come up. Just email us right away at starrandtyler2025@gmail.com so we can make changes.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be most likely warm with a chance of rain. Thankfully both the ceremony and the reception will be hosted in air-conditioned buildings, however the cocktail hour will be hosted on the outdoor patio. We recommend checking the weather before packing and dressing for the day

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The short answer is to wear what you're comfortable in. The long answer is that the dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. That generally means cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. The event is entirely indoors, so feel free to wear heels if you wish! You'll likely feel underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo. If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are a handful of other hotels in the area for you to choose from. Look at our travel page for some options!

Question

Can I park at the venues?

Answer

There may be street parking but it is Brooklyn so we cannot guarantee that you will find parking. However, the venue is very easy to get to by subway ( G or L ) or uber/lyft!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We are having a buffet style dinner, so hopefully everyone will be able to compile a meal that will make them happy. If you have specific concerns or allergies, please don't hesitate to email us at starrandtyler2025@gmail.com and we will confer with our caterer.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar at the wedding.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We have paid a professional photographer to capture how the ceremony looks, we have invited you so you may capture how the reception feels. We ask you turn off your electronics during our ceremony to ensure you are in the moment and not in the way of our photographers. Some of these photos will be posted on social media for viewing purposes. After the ceremony is complete and the wedding party has exited, you may turn on your devices and take pictures of whatever you wish! We'd love to see those reception selfies!!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

Check out our Registry on this website!

Question

What colors should I avoid wearing?

Answer

White, green, and rust! Especially a white wedding dress :)

Question

What shoes should I wear?

Answer

We advise you to stick to the dress code, but please be comfortable! There will be dancing and uncomfy shoes will not be an excuse for not dancing
