North Carolina State Fair
We love going to the NC State Fair each fall to try all the delicious foods from funnel cakes to Krispy Kreme burgers. Even if rides aren't your thing, there are plenty of games and activities to keep you busy all night long! The fair will take place from October 14th - October 24th this year.
North Carolina Zoo
A great place to visit that everyone in the family will enjoy!
Marbles Kids Museum
At this innovative and wildly-popular children’s museum in downtown Raleigh, kids are encouraged to use their marbles—hence the name!
William B. Umstead State Park
One of Caleb's favorite places to take his mountain bike. There are also plenty of walking trails for anyone looking to find some peace and quiet in a big city.

Whether you order their French toast bread pudding for brunch or get one of their famous mac n' cheese skillets for dinner, there really isn't a bad choice on the menu; one of our favorite restaurants!

Morgan Street Food Hall features local eateries and restaurants and introduces the concept of cross meal ordering, where different meals are enjoyed in a shared seating area. We love all the options here and the atmosphere is great!
